OOOPS I DID IT AGAIN

Ok so we all remember my friend J? Let's refresh....about a year ago we met through some Long Beach friends. We had some (mostly drunk) fun for a couple of months last year. But the fun had to stop when I told him to sh*t or get off the pot because I was starting to get attached...yada, yada we parted ways...didn't talk for a while, then just drunk texts.

Well I hadn't heard from him in months but last Thursday......at 10pm (so debatably sober) saying "We should do something normal like coffee" We went back and forth on the text and then I just called him. We chatted for over an hour. I always have a soft spot for him....he is very likable and things did not end so awful. Plus we have good talks.....

So he asks me to go out for drinks on Saturday (yes that would be last Saturday). We had a good time. It was actually one of the more normal things we have done together ever so it was kind of funny. He met me at the apt and we went to joshua tree for drinks. It was good to catch up. He is going to be 30 in July so I was teasing him and of course updating him on all my family drama.

But it didn't feel like a date thing. I used to be soooo into him. And now I look at him and I'm like "eh". I'm pretty sure the feelings were mutual esp since I dont' think he was ever struck with the love bug in the first place. I'm sure we'll catch up again in a couple of months :)

PS. I rocked my midterm from yesterday.

PPS. EJ says that the dresses are god-awful and I'm being too nice-ha!

HOT OFF THE EJ PRESS!!!

So I just got off the phone with the gal and there are so many updates!! Little did she know I was taking notes so I could fully report back...but she also has no idea this blog exists so I'm in the clear at least for now.

EJ & A will be getting married this summer!! Yes it will be a quiet civil ceremony with just immediate family on June 29th at A's parents house. Civil Ceremony doesn't sounds as fun so I like to call it Wedding Part 1. They are basically going to doing so the family can have the same insurance plus EJ will also able to get all the benefits/discounts on the base (he is all lined up for an office job).

Now Wedding Pt 2. will be held at Marina Del Rey http://www.themarinadelrey.com/ on June 29, 2007...yes she did the dates on purpose. That was the one place that I went with them. It is so pretty! I would just like to mention that my sis is so fabulously crafty that she is having 2 weddings??!!

Lastly, the two of them are officially moving into their "baby-safe" apt in the end of April. I'm being a dedicated sister and volunteering my time to go up to help. This will be quite an event I'm sure....I'm picturing EJ in her "Goddess with a Bump" tank ordering around his over-eager parents and A and his super tall bro, me and my parents to "Move faster bitches!!"

Oh and while I was googling my sis for this pic I found this great story. I don't know if I ever told you guys about it...she basically saved someone's life....

DRUM ROLL PLEASE......

.....yes ladies this is the grand unveiling not only of my first official blog but also of the fabulous new frock I will be parading around in on August 12th. Now I know you all recognize the pretty one above...well they were convinced not to use this one and have now finally decided to go with the one on the right.

Now seriously all the drama that has been going on with the dress I am happy that one has been chosen. And ya know it could be worse...aka pic up top! For now I'm going to completely ignore the fact that I'll be sporting long sleeves in the middle of August only because I love my sister in law to be so much! Plus she said we could alter it any way we please. Well I just sent her an email if I can make it a two piece.....that my friends will def be posted upon approval :)
