TOP 10 THINGS A PROFESSOR NEEDS TO SAY IN ORDER FOR ME TO UNDERSTAND HIS DEFINITION OF EXTRA HELP:
  1. Let me see your other tattoo.
  2. Have you ever experimented with girls?
  3. You should take me as your date to your brother's wedding.
  4. How long does it take for you to get intimate with someone?
  5. How long would we last?
  6. You shouldn't take my class next semester so we can remain friends.
  7. So how are we going to say goodbye now that we are friends? Hug? Shake hands?
  8. When am I going to see you again?
  9. Oh you mean you'll only visit me at school?
  10. When I first saw you I was like whoa!

DRUNK QUICKIE
I'm done with finals!!! YAY!! Last night was this party for all the grad students at Park Ave Country Club. I woke up this morning (still drunk) couldn't find my bag for about 30 min but figured it was somewhere bec I got into the apt. Then of course remembered making out with a fellow classmate-always a good idea! Um yeah open bar is always fun. I'm trying to get my crap together because I need to get to work! But I can't sober up yet...oooppps :) I think I need a bagel or coffee...not good-ha!

My dad is doing great! He is getting out of the hospital today. He can't sit still and hates using crutches but he is healing up great! What a relief!

Ok well I better get my crap together because I need to sober up and get to work!! My mom just called and was like what the hell is wrong with you and my brother keeps sending me text messages like is the room spinning!!!

Oh and btw....me and the cop are still good. With my finals and his work schedule we haven't been able to hang out but we talk/text often :) And this weekend he is heading up to Boston.....hey Dev keep your eye out for a big hunk-o-cop coming your way!

HIP HIP HOORAY!!

My Dad's hip surgery was a success! Here is a pic of his new X-ray...haha jk. But this is what it will look like. He had this procedure done called Hip Resurfacing. It is less invasive than "hip replacement". They even call it minimally invasive?? Which is a crock bec it looks pretty invasive to me!

He is still in the recovery room as we speak (I know I'm such a speedy reporter). But I'm going to visit him for lunch with a lifetime supply of Dallas BBQ chicken so he doesn't have to eat that hospital crap. I planned it so that I'm working in that neighborhood this week so I can easily visit!

The doctor anticipates that he will be in the hospital until the weekend so my Mom is basically living there until then.

But now poor EJ is being neglected. And I think awfully bored-her away messages today said, "I might just go into labor out of sheer boredom." and "Alone, alone, all alone in this big house." But in case you were starting to feel for the gal-ha! Don't worry her lovey is coming to visit this weekend. I also plan on being on Long Island this weekend so I'm sure I will have more ridiculousness to report back on.

But anyways, YaY for mi poppi!

BENT OUT OF SHAPE
Damn! Rushing into my apartment over the weekend I bent the key to the main entrance! I hate things like this because I always procrastinate and don't get this thing done until its too late and the key broke in the door. Maybe it won't break??

This morning I'm going to the Upper Eastside to audit more employee files. I've been enjoying the project because I can kind of do my own thing as long as I finish a restaurant a day. Well now there is a new bookkeeper that was hired on Wednesday who already complained to our boss that there is not enough work to do. Now the new restaurant is opening very shortly and she will have her hands full. So this is a temporary situation. So now this hole is going to travel around with me to all the restaurants. I have to train her and now make sure she does everything correctly!! This hole should have just shut her mouth for a week or two! But noooo after two days she had to blab to the boss and now I'm a babysitter!

Hasn't the girl ever heard of thesuperficial.com-ha!!

Not to jump the gun or anything but by the time it gets to wedding day and babies-EJ will be fluent in Jewish! I'm thinking you need to hire her as your new life coach into the Jewish religion and raising a baby with two religions.....Let's hear it EJ! EJ! EJ!

Now she has to start her own blog with her everyday wedding adventures!!!

I can't figure out what that curved piece is next to her hand is? And is she leaning on her other hand?? or knee?

Well I guess who the F cares-LOOK AT THAT ROCK!!!

EXCITEMENT!!

Oh man there is sooo much going on right now! First off I'd like to say Happy Birthday to me mum who just turned 58!! When I called her to wish her the best she told me that EJ just went to the doctor. Not to get too medically but the cervix needs to be super thin to deliver and EJ is at 75% capacity. So only 25% more and EJ will be ready for delivery!! They think she will have the baby IN LESS THAN 10 DAYS!!! WHOOOHOOO!

My dad is having his hip surgery next Tuesday so I'm betting that lil' Madelyn will be just like her mom with impeccable timing and arrive the same day-ha! My poor mom!

I would also like to take a moment of for Elliot Yamin from American Idol. I heart him and can't believe he was voted off!! Now stupid Taylor is going to win! Speaking of TV there are so many show finales going on this week....70's show, Will & Grace, America's Next Top Model, and my dear Grey's Anatomy (soooo good!!)

Today was also the last day of my classes! I can't believe one year is down! I survived and actually enjoyed myself after I made it through first semester! Now I just have finals next week...yes the same week my dad is having surgery and EJ will most likely go into labor-ahhh!!

MAGNUM P.I.

My Monday started out fabulously! I got a call from work saying that I didn't need to go into work because the 72nd St. Store's employee files were not ready for me to audit them. So I played on the couch and watched TV until my little celly rang and guess who it was.....yup my fav cop!

He wanted to know if I wanted to hang out because he gets out of work at 3:30pm. I said surely. I was wearing my signature so-lows and a cute baby tee and greeted him at the door to my apt. We went to the same place Katie works at for pizza. They have really great thin crust pizza and fresh toppings. I had half mushroom mix and the other half goat cheese and artichoke hearts-sooo good! I swear this is all such a treat because I normally microwave my meals or they involve cereal and milk.

We then rented Hostel. It is done by Quentin Tarantino and has that guy from Crazy Beautiful with Kirsten Dunst (Mel and Amy we saw it in the theatre). Anyways it was pretty good.....nothing to write home about. Really bloody!!! We also shared that bottle of wine that he brought over the other day. But it was nice to cuddle on the couch and makeout. He kissed my head and cheek every so often too. And yes don't worry there was a bit of DH-ing too.....and then the party moved into my room....yada, yada, wham....so good :)

He begged me for a pic of me naked for his camera phone. Seriously wouldn't give up...how about if it was just my ass so you couldn't tell who it was-ha! He said what happens if he's at work and wants to see me? We were both laughing and I was saying no way I didn't want to be on the internet or be shown to all his friends. I swear he is such a dope!

Well he after a nice big kiss, he kissed my hand and smiled and walked to Penn....

WINE N' SUSHI

Date 2 with my cop friend. He shows up at my apt with a bottle of wine. He's really into wine and goes to vinyards a bunch. Anyways we went to this place called Sushi Twist that I picked out on Madison and 28th. It was kind of funky loungey with amazing sushi!! I had this great roll with Tuna, Salmon, Yellowtail, and Squid all in one roll-YUM!! We ordered soup in the beginning and he also ordered a salad. After we were done with our soups, he cleared away the table so that we could both share his salad. He's very considerate :) Plus he showered me with compliments like you light up the room and I couldn't wait to see you again....

Not to mention that he was making me laugh hysterically the entire time. He has a great armory of dirty jokes-ha! So after sushi we wandered around my hood and stopped into a couple of bars for cocktails. He also didn't fail to deliver with his retarded boy comments again....I saw him checking me out when we were sitting on the bar stool. And I said yes can I help you? He said you have such a great body. What are your measurements? I burst out hysterical laughing and said I have no idea.

We continued to chat and make out in the bars....and then decided to bring the party back to the apartment.....

I walked him to his car at the end of the night. And because he didn't want me walking back home by myself he drove me back and even waited for me to get back in my apt.

Good times....sigh....good times!

PS...There was even a follow up call the next day telling me what a great time he had

PRINCESS
PIÑATA IS STAYIN.....

And so are we!! Oh yeah baby!! So Katie just ran into our neighbor who initially informed us that the building is being sold. And the hole just told her that turns out the building is NOT being sold!! I hate this girl! I can't believe she got Katie and I nervous over nada. Again it makes me even happier knowing that she is paying our electricity and doesn't even know it.

Princess pictured above is a souvenir from Katie and my Cinco de Mayo festivities courtesy of Underground Bar down the street :)

SHOWERS OF HAPPINESS??!!

Oh boy oh boy! I just received the invitation in the mail for Carolyn's bridal shower. I would first like to point out the abnormal size of this invitation in case you can't tell from the picture...it is appx 12 in high and 6 in long. Second I appreciate the font......it is kind of like 80s typewritter and not in a good way. Or maybe you'd like the fancy pic of the doves surrounded by flourescent banners. And just in case you can't see what the bottom one says...Please bring a single rose. Um yeah this is so we can create massive bouquets of flowers for Carolyn to bring home-bec I'm sure she is just dying for something as dumb as this??!!

One of my favorite things is that this is an English Tea party theme at an Irish Coffee Pub. I don't think we could have planned this any better.

The grand finale....I am the RSVP!!! Good thing only 70 people were invited!!

And just when you thought only EJ events were entertaining :)

BBQ ALL AROUND
Another glorious day in the city today....actually the weather is quite drizzly but fine all the same. I've just been running errands today-applying for another year of financial aid, venting to Justin about EJ annoyances, Duane Reade run.....

This week I have a huge presentation for my Operational Management class. We chose to create an ordering system to automate chicken ordering for Dallas BBQ. We had to manipulate figures and do all this crazy tec stuff to form a model. I know, I know....very exciting. But I was talking to my boss about it and I scored a free t-shirt for the presentation which I will be sporting on numerous occasions of course-ha! I'm not the biggest fan of presenting. My crutch apparently is "you know". So I have to start practicing today so I'm not a bumbling dope on Thursday!

On the work front, my latest project is auditing all the employee files for every location. This is a huge project and takes about a week to do each place. I just finished 23rd St and now my new location will be 2nd Ave and St. Marks for a week or so. I'm excited about the project and glad I get to go around to meet everyone instead of being stuck in the bomb shelter of an office that I have at 23rd St.

Oh and I have another date on Friday with John-woohoo! I'm going to suggest sushi-yum!!

LATE SCARED BALLERINA HORSE BROKER

I showed up 2 minutes early to meet the stockbroker. I had a weird feeling when I didn't see him there. 10 minutes later I was still standing there. He calls me and very apologetically says he was running late from work and will be here in 10 min. I was a little "eh" about the whole thing but I'm always late....

He shows up and we sit down at a table. He continues same as our conversation on the phone with talking 100 milles an hour. He talked about 90% of the conversation, didn't ask me one question. He basically sat there and bragged about his big doorman apartment with his girl roommate??

He had no manners. It was like he was in his own world and could careless about what I had to say about anything. I had to interject with things about me. Turns out he went to Carnegie Mellon undergrad (a big Hopkins Rival).

During his rantings.....he told me that during his big fancy client dinners he goes on he never orders meat or chicken because it is too scary and then continued to rant about mad cow disease and bird flu. Later in the convo I managed to squeeze in that I competed in horse shows when I was younger. He said "I couldn't pay him enough money to get on a horse. Did I see what see what happened to Christopher Reeves." I said he could just walk on the horse and not jump hurdles. He still insisted no way.

The highlight of the night was when the table of two guys sat down next to us and the boy very enthusuastically asked me, "Do you like ballet? I loooooove ballet!!" The guys started hysterical laughing and one even had to excuse himself.

At the end I thought that I was being the best date.....and before I even finish my drink he asks the busboy who hardly spoke English for the check!!! It wasn't like he was nervous because I don't have a problem with that it was more that he was in love with himself and in his own world.

I told him to have a nice weekend but I had to head home....date start 7:20....end 9:00pm.....I could not get out of there faster!!!!!!!!

RESCUE 911???

So last night was my date with the cop. John called me the night before and suggested this Italian place near my apt called Christina's. I've never been there and it was steps away from my apt so I thought it was fab. He texted me earlier in the day to confirm as well. He seems to enjoy the text and calling me pretty. I almost thought it was annoying but then I thought it was cute.

My brother was in the area on an interview so I wound up meeting up with him beforehand for a drink. So I was nice and relaxed. My brother tried to be all big brother-ish like are you sure you want to get serious about a cop constantly worrying about his safety. I told him to shut his pie hole I haven't even been on a date with him.

Anyways, as I was walking up to the restaurant I realized I'm not even 100% sure what this guy looks like. I vaguely remember but when I walked up and recognized him I felt better. He is kind of a big guy around 6'2" with tannish skin (100% italian), with a shaved head. Totally not my "type" but I was still attracted to him. We ate outside with the gorgeous weather. I was really excited because we ordered baked clams which I recently found out I'm not allergic to anymore!

The conversation was good. There was something about him that was welcoming. I was very comfortable around him. He was kind of laid back. He seemed to be interested in what I had to say and he was pretty amusing. He made me laugh a bunch. He was very complementary. He liked my jewelry, said I was pretty, etc. Oh and he is 24-ha! And a Virgo too so I thought that was cool. He's traveled all over and he is admittedly dying to see Wicked. I asked him a million cop questions. I though the whole thing was fascinating. He said I could do a ride along-ha!

But he was definitely very copish and asked me weird questions like who do I like better cops or firemen. I was like what? I don't know. There was also a point where he leaned in and asked me if I like Asian people because he hates the way they drive. I almost fell off my rocker with laughter and pleaded the fifth. So clearly he is a little socially retarded but it was weird there was something about him. He was just a big hunk of man where I could picture him clubbing other guys over the head for me in a hot way. Or maybe it's the whole power cop thing where I could see him handcuffing me??

While I was in the loo he paid for the meal and asked if I want to go to Whiskey Bar down the block (thumbs up on both accounts for paying and decision making skills). I'm all about planning but if someone else wants to do it then I am more than happy to give up the power. We had a couple more drinks at the bar and just chatted the night away.

Yada, yada, yada we were making out in front of my apt building. So part of me is questioning why I like this guy but then the other half is answering because you had a good time. He asked if he could call me again. I said yes.

So we'll see.... I have another date tonight with another guy....wooohoooo!

TIVO OR DIE

I never considered myself a TV fanatic. I'm a very busy person so I figured I can't watch that much TV. But ever since I was introduced to TIVO I found a way around missing my shows. TIVO even has an option of recording the entire series so you don't even need to setup the recording each week. Seeing as I am completely OCD and need to do everything to extremes.
Please my friends check out my illness.....

Here is the list of TV shows that I have scheduled to tape:

Lost
Desperate Housewives
ER
Nip/Tuck
Grey's Anatomy
The Apprentice
7th Heaven

(NOT SO) HOLY MOSES

The loving couple who dragged our butts to RI and started this whole mess....soon to be Mr and Mrs Moses

The trip started out a little squished. My mom was stuck in the back while EJ was storming up to RI and I was DJ.

We drive up to this gorgeous courtyard. This is the view from their mini-patio.

The apartment started out a mess. There was stuff everywhere. EJ and Andrew were trying to come up with a plan.

So EJ decided to get down to business and let us know our assignments. Soooooo about to POP!!!

So I started to get serious and drilled my A** off!!

But then the hard work started to get to all of us. First my Mom started going crazy.....

Then my brother started to lose it........

And my dad started going crazy........

We finally started to gain some sanity....slowly but surely....

After we ate some food, we were happy as can be!

The Build-A-Bear Family even seemed happy for us to go....the bear he proposed with, she recipricated and bought him the groom, and then the baby when EJ became a seasoned blossom.

The Grande Finale ladies...yes its the bear we have been talking about forever! And I even pressed the arm to hear EJ's voice say HOoohahh. Although all I hear is the mall and a strange voice say Hiya.

-------------------------------------------------------------------

PS....HAPPY BIRTHDAY PATTY!!
