Another glorious day in the city today....actually the weather is quite drizzly but fine all the same. I've just been running errands today-applying for another year of financial aid, venting to Justin about EJ annoyances, Duane Reade run.....This week I have a huge presentation for my Operational Management class. We chose to create an ordering system to automate chicken ordering for Dallas BBQ. We had to manipulate figures and do all this crazy tec stuff to form a model. I know, I know....very exciting. But I was talking to my boss about it and I scored a free t-shirt for the presentation which I will be sporting on numerous occasions of course-ha! I'm not the biggest fan of presenting. My crutch apparently is "you know". So I have to start practicing today so I'm not a bumbling dope on Thursday!
On the work front, my latest project is auditing all the employee files for every location. This is a huge project and takes about a week to do each place. I just finished 23rd St and now my new location will be 2nd Ave and St. Marks for a week or so. I'm excited about the project and glad I get to go around to meet everyone instead of being stuck in the bomb shelter of an office that I have at 23rd St.
Oh and I have another date on Friday with John-woohoo! I'm going to suggest sushi-yum!!
